Happy Birthday to Stephen Hawking!

The Birthday Boy, Stephen Hawking. A Capricorn.

Stephen Hawking was born on January 8th, 1942 in Oxford, England. When you think of Stephen Hawking, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the word physics. Hawking, to say the least, knew a thing or two about physics, specifically theoretical physics. Besides the fact that he attended the prestigious University of Oxford to study physics and was later elected a research fellow at the equally prestigious University of Cambridge, Hawking devised the theory of exploding black holes inspired by the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. Hawking was also an accomplished author. His first book, "A Brief History in Time", became an international best seller. He died on March 14th, 2018 from ALS (amyotrophic lateral scoliosis).

Science is not only a disciple of reason, but, also, one of romance and passion.
