The CSSS Passion Award recognizes the many factors that impact each student’s decision to pursue their chosen undergraduate program.

The CSSS Role Model Award recognizes students who have been inspired by a role model such as a teacher, professor, friend or peer.

The CSSS Innovation Award acknowledges students who demonstrate exceptional creativity and forward-thinking in both their academic endeavours and extracurricular pursuits. This award celebrates the application of innovative perspectives and novel approaches to address existing challenges or fill unmet needs. 

The CSSS Application Award recognizes how the material students learn various courses can help them in their studies and be applied to the real world. 

The CSSS Interdisciplinary Award recognizes that taking courses outside of the sciences can give students a unique perspective.

The CSSS Persistence Award recognizes the dedication and grit students must have to retake a course and what they can learn.

The CSSS Transition Award is for students who have changed programs during their university career.
